Donation Received From NZIFCR

HCC has been fortunate to receive a donation of $3000 from NZ International Fellowship of Cricketing Rotarians (NZIFCR) towards their rebuilding fund. As you may know the Heathcote Cricket Club suffered severe damage to its facilities during the February 22nd earthquake. The damage extended to the club rooms, training nets

& roller shed; exceeding our insurance cover.

Since February the club has worked tirelessly to demolish the damaged areas, rebuild the training & outdoor areas; and establish a safe, temporary clubrooms for the coming season. For the 2011-2012 season we will be operating out of half a clubrooms. We are still working to raise the funds needed to proceed further; to demolish & replace the damaged roller shed and rebuild the remainder of the clubrooms and enhance them to the community hub Heathcote Valley needs.

We need financial assistance to help raise the $350,000.00 needed to rebuild possibly the greatest cricket club in the world.
